Paralegal, Single Family Office (Private Equity & Real Estate), London

A private-equity and real-estate focused family office is hiring a Paralegal to work closely with its senior lawyer across legal support, company secretarial and compliance. The role spans drafting and reviewing NDAs and commercial contracts, reviewing investment and legal documentation (LP, loan and shareholder agreements), liaising with external counsel, company-secretarial and governance processes, and regulatory filings and compliance across Cayman, BVI, Guernsey and Dubai entities. Suits a paralegal with corporate-law, private-equity or investment-management exposure comfortable in a small team.

Key responsibilities include: drafting and reviewing NDAs, confidentiality agreements and commercial contracts; reviewing investment and legal documentation, including LP, loan and shareholder agreements; liaising with external counsel and shareholders' lawyers; conducting legal research and drafting and supporting disputes and special projects; maintaining the company's contractual, insurance and investment documentation; managing company-secretarial and governance processes, including board and general meetings; overseeing regulatory filings and compliance across Cayman, BVI, Guernsey and Dubai entities; maintaining corporate records, statutory registers and KYC documentation; monitoring regulatory developments; and managing regulatory and counterparty queries with administrators, advisers and regulators.

Required qualifications: previous legal experience within legal practice or in-house roles; exposure to corporate law, private equity or investment management; comfort working as part of a small team; a proven ability to work independently; and international experience (advantageous).
