We are working with a well-established and highly regarded London law firm who are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their busy Intellectual Property team. The firm is looking for a confident and organised Paralegal to provide essential support to fee earners across a varied caseload of IP matters.

The Firm

The Paralegal will join a respected London practice known for delivering high quality legal services to a broad range of commercial clients, creatives and businesses. The firm offers a collaborative working culture, strong supervision and a structured team environment with clear career development pathways.

The Role

The Intellectual Property team manage a broad caseload including trade mark and copyright matters, brand protection, licensing agreements, IP disputes and enforcement work.

You will play a key role in ensuring files progress efficiently from instruction through to resolution.

The role will include:

Manage administrative workload under the guidance of fee earnersAssist with file opening, compliance checks and case managementDraft standard correspondence and legal documents using precedentsSupport with trade mark and copyright filings where requiredAssist with preparing evidence, bundles and documents for disputesLiaise with clients, counsel, experts and third parties via telephone and emailConduct legal research on IP and commercial issuesMaintain accurate file records and manage deadlines

The Paralegal

You will be a proactive and reliable individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy Intellectual Property environment.

The Paralegal will have:

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple matters and prioritise effectivelyExperience supporting Intellectual Property or commercial mattersConfidence working to deadlines and under pressureExperience in a similar role is essential, those without experience will not be considered
