Our Team

We are looking to hire a highly driven, self-sufficient Paralegal/Conveyancer to join one of our successful Residential Conveyancing departments in London.

The Role

We are looking to further strengthen our Residential Conveyancing team with the appointment of a Paralegal/Conveyancer based in our London office.

You'll be responsible for:

• Communicating with clients on a daily basis, dealing with matters over the phone, email or in person
• Updating branches and building relationships with our referrers
• Updating and maintaining a case management system
• Sending quotes and letters of instruction
• Ordering searches
• Liaising with other parties solicitors, brokers and estate agents
• Managing property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, New build and Shared ownership transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity from inception until post completion
• Updating clients on progress of matter
• Checking mortgage offers and searches
• Title checking and reporting to clients
• Raising and signing off the enquiries
• Maintaining and checking Due Diligence and Risk Assessments in line with the firms' policies
• Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and data protection regulations
• Exchanging contracts and completing the transaction
