Location: Canary Wharf, London

Salary: £40,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and hands on Operations Manager to lead the delivery of vending, micromarket, and pantry services across a high profile London estate.

This is a visible, client facing role requiring a strong balance of operational leadership, technical capability, and commercial awareness. You will take full ownership of service performance, ensuring equipment reliability, high service standards, and a consistently excellent customer experience.

The Role

As Pantry and Vending Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day performance and delivery of services across multiple locations.

You will lead from the front, ensuring machines remain operational, teams are effectively deployed, and service standards are consistently met. You will also play a key role in maintaining client confidence through proactive communication and dependable delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of vending, micromarket, and pantry operations across the estate
  • Maximise machine uptime through preventative maintenance and fast fault resolution
  • Carry out routine troubleshooting and first line equipment repairs, escalating only complex issues
  • Lead, manage, and develop a multi skilled team, ensuring flexibility across vending, pantry, coffee bar, and food service operations
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, availability, and presentation at all times
  • Use data and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements
  • Manage suppliers and engineers, ensuring agreed service levels are consistently achieved
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and communicate effectively on service performance
  • Drive commercial performance through stock control, waste management, and pricing awareness
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company standards
About You
  • You will have proven experience in vending, retail, hospitality, or facilities management within a fast paced and service led environment
  • You are a confident team leader with the ability to manage people, suppliers, and operational challenges effectively
  • You have a hands on approach and are comfortable diagnosing and resolving equipment issues
  • You are highly organised, with strong problem solving and prioritisation skills
  • You understand the importance of compliance, safety, and consistent service standards
  • You are commercially aware and focused on delivering efficient and effective operations
  • Experience with vending or micromarket systems is desirable but not essential
Why Join Us
  • Monday to Friday working pattern offering a strong work life balance
  • Opportunity to work in a prestigious Canary Wharf location
  • A high level of ownership and autonomy within a visible operation
  • A supportive team environment with opportunities to develop and grow
  • The chance to play a key role in delivering and improving a growing service
