PAM Engineer (CyberArk)

16 Month contract initially

Based: Warwick/Remote (Max 1 day per week onsite in Warwick)

Rate: £Market rates p/d (via Umbrella company)

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for CyberArk issues impacting projects, including consulting.
2. Experience with CyberArk Privilege Cloud is essential; on-premise CyberArk experience, especially in CNI, is a bonus.
3. Maintain PAM SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
4. Contribute to PAM testing, including unit testing, end-user testing, and scripting before Go-Lives.
5. Ensure regulatory compliance for PAM; configure systems according to PAM policies and standards.
6. Design and implement PAM solutions, defining and enforcing access policies.
7. Manage and maintain PAM systems and infrastructure, such as CyberArk and BeyondTrust.
8. Integrate PAM solutions with various applications and cloud environments.
9. Set up monitoring and alerting systems for security threats.
10. Diagnose and resolve PAM system issues.
11. Create and maintain documentation for PAM processes and configurations.
12. Serve as a security advisor on PAM-related matters.

Key Skills and Experience

1. Experience with CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or similar PAM solutions.
2. Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
3. Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
4. Networking protocols and security best practices.
5. Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities.

Additional Considerations

Involvement in securing cloud environments is increasingly important for PAM engineers.
