Job Title: PAM Engineer (CyberArk)
Location: Warwick Technology Park (4 Days On Site Per Week)
Salary/Rate: up to £510 Inside IR35
Start Date: 18/08/2025 until 30/12/2026

Overview:

A fantastic long-term contract opportunity for a hands-on PAM Engineer to join a major technology/security programme within the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sector. This role is primarily focused on CyberArk Privilege Cloud (with additional on-prem CyberArk experience a bonus) and requires an engineer with both technical depth and a consultative mindset. You'll play a key part in configuring, testing, and delivering secure privileged access solutions across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on engineering across CyberArk Privilege Cloud and/or on-prem

• Write and maintain PAM SOPs, and contribute to Go-Live testing phases

• Perform unit testing, user testing, and script validation for PAM deployments

• Troubleshoot PAM access and system issues; deliver robust solutions

• Ensure PAM platforms align to internal policies and regulatory requirements

• Integrate PAM with systems, cloud environments, and other security tooling (eg, SIEM/SOAR)

• Act as a security SME within the PAM and broader IAM space

Required Skills & Experience:

• CyberArk experience essential (Privilege Cloud preferred, on-prem beneficial)

• Working knowledge of BeyondTrust or similar PAM tools is a plus

• Strong grasp of IAM principles, NHI management, and PAM best practices

• Proficient with Windows/Linux, Scripting (eg, PowerShell, Python), and automation

• Familiarity with networking protocols and cloud access controls

• Prior experience working in regulated environments (eg, CNI) is ideal

• Excellent documentation and communication skills

• Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-first approach

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, etc.)

• Experience integrating PAM tools with SIEM/SOAR platforms

• Understanding of security compliance standards relevant to PAM
