Packaging Operator - Essex - £Competitive Salary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our client's busy production team. In this role, you will help ensure that their packaging is produced to the highest quality standards by setting up, running, and maintaining machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to meet daily targets.
• Load materials and adjust machine settings to ensure smooth operation.
• Inspect products for quality, identifying and reporting any issues.
• Carry out basic maintenance and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation.
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Willingness to learn and work with machinery.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented approach.

Desirable

• Basic maintenance or mechanical skills.
• Forklift licence.
