As a People & Culture Business Partner in New Zealand Manufacturing you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. This is a strategic partnering role bringing our people strategy to life by embedding strategic workforce planning, capability development and culture transformation into site operations, ensuring alignment with our business priorities and the evolving needs of our Co-op.

You'll work closely with leaders across our South Island sites-including Darfield, Tākaka, and Studholme-to influence strategic thinking, drive a high-performance culture, lead change, and design organisational solutions that deliver real business outcomes. Regular travel, typically monthly or as needed, is part of the role and supports strong cross-site relationships and responsive, high-impact People & Culture delivery.

As a trusted advisor, you'll coach and support leaders, champion employee engagement, and design people strategies that solve real business challenges. You are a strategic thinker with deep business insight into key drivers and success measures, and a passion for enabling performance. Future-focused and adaptable, you bring fresh perspectives and thought leadership to navigate ambiguity and lead change across complex environments.With confidence and experience, you lead culture transformation across unionised and geographically dispersed settings, embedding strategic P&C disciplines-such as workforce planning, capability building, and high-performance culture-into integrated programs that deliver real impact.

You take initiative to drive execution and track performance, using data and insights to shape strategy, balance complexity and quality, and meet stakeholder needs. Leveraging your influencing skills and P&C expertise, you partner effectively with diverse site leadership teams to craft people strategies that anticipate future workforce needs and enable business success. Business-focused and employee-centric, you bring clarity, confidence, and impact to everything you do.
