Overhead Crane Service Engineer
Salary: Up to £38'000 + overtime, travel pay & benefits
Location: Based in Shrewsbury - nationwide travel (occasional overseas work)

We're hiring an Overhead Crane Service Engineer to join a leading industrial maintenance team. This is a hands on role covering the installation, maintenance and repair of overhead crane systems across the UK. You'll be based from our Shrewsbury site but will travel to customer sites nationwide, with some overnight stays and occasional trips abroad - all fully paid.

• Install, inspect and commission new overhead cranes and lifting systems
• Carry out routine maintenance and breakdown repairs on overhead cranes and hoists
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring equipment is safe and reliable
• Provide excellent on site support and advice to customers
• Keep detailed service and maintenance records in line with company and safety standards

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer, Crane Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge (fault finding, testing, repair)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• Safety conscious with strong customer service skills

• Up to £38,000 (DOE)
• Paid overtime, weekend rates, and travel time
• Occasional overseas projects (a few per year)
