Location: Yorkshire Outdoors, Felixkirk, Thirsk, YO7 2DP

Part-time: Reporting to the Activity Centre Manager; must be available on weekends

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Role Overview

Deliver a range of outdoor activity sessions one to one or in groups, guiding guests safely across driving, shooting, biking, archery and axe throwing experiences. You'll be the face of Yorkshire Outdoors-ensuring every guest has a memorable, enjoyable, and safe experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one on one or small group instruction across core activities: 4 4 off road driving in Land Rover Defenders, quad bike trekking, axe throwing, archery, and clay pigeon shooting.
• Brief clients, demonstrate techniques, maintain safety protocols, and adapt instruction to participant ability.
• Set up, inspect, and maintain equipment, vehicles, and activity areas daily.
• Assist with general operations: welcoming guests, coordinating bookings, supporting refreshment service from the clubhouse (rolls, pastries, BBQ orders).
• Ensure exceptional customer service, encouraging repeat bookings and positive reviews.
• Uphold all health and safety standards, including equipment checks and incident reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Full UK driving licence; experience with off road vehicles is a plus.
• First aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
• Strong communication skills with flexibility and a confident, professional approach.
• Training will be provided leading to professional qualifications.

You'll play a key role in delivering unforgettable experiences to individuals, families, and corporate guests, all set in our stunning 50 acre site in the heart of North Yorkshire.
