OT Network Engineer - 6 months - MUST BE BASED IN SCOTLAND

We are looking for an OT Networks Engineer to work end-to-end on projects, combining hands-on technical work with consultancy. The role involves designing, setting up, and supporting secure networks in operational technology environments.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (Long term program)
• Day Rate: £400 - £450 per day (Outside IR35)
• Location: Hybrid - Glasgow
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and support OT network solutions
• Configure and troubleshoot Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
• Integrate OT systems such as SCADA and PLCs
• Ensure networks follow security best practices
• Work closely with IT and engineering teams

Experience:

• Strong networking skills (Cisco, routing/switching)
• Experience in OT/industrial environments (utilities, energy, manufacturing)
• Knowledge of OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, Ethernet/IP)
• Hands-on and client-facing experience
