Location: 3 days per week in Milton Keynes
Pay: INSIDE IR35, paying up to £425/day

We're looking for an expert Oracle Fusion GL & Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) Design Developer for a contract role focused on designing and implementing complex accounting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Oracle GL & AHCS to meet complex accounting and reporting needs
- Develop accounting rules, mapping sets, and subledger accounting setups
- Translate finance requirements into functional and technical designs
- Design chart of accounts, ledgers, allocations, and consolidations
- Ensure integration with AP, AR, FA, CM, Projects, and external systems
- Lead testing phases and support UAT
- Resolve issues in configurations, reconciliations, and reporting
- Provide production support and documentation

Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion GL & AHCS
- In-depth knowledge of SLA, journal definitions, event models, and financial structures
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, BI/OTBI
- Skilled in integrating GL & AH with subledgers and external systems
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial processes
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methods

Desirable:
- Background in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance
