Job Description

Trova is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud PPM Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Oracle Cloud Projects (PPM). This contract role requires strong functional expertise across Oracle Cloud Project Financial Management and Project Execution, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and system integrators to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation and enhancement of Oracle Cloud Projects (PPM) Suite, including:

    • Project Costing

    • Project Billing

    • Project Management

    • Project Financial Management

    • Grants Management (if applicable)

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into Oracle Cloud PPM functional designs.

  • Configure Oracle Cloud PPM modules to meet business needs, including setups for:

    • Project structures, cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting

    • Expenditure types, cost rates, and burdening

    • Billing rules, revenue recognition, and contract linkage

  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations with other Oracle Cloud modules (eg, Financials, Procurement, HCM) and third-party systems.

  • Support data migration activities, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation.

  • Develop and execute functional test scenarios, support UAT, and resolve defects.

  • Provide post-go-live support, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and system optimization.

  • Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

  • Advise on best practices and Oracle Cloud PPM standard functionality to minimize customizations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Projects/PPM, including significant hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Projects Suite.

  • Proven experience in at least one full-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementation.

  • Strong functional knowledge of:

    • Project Costing and Project Billing

    • Project Financials and Project Execution

  • Experience integrating Oracle Cloud PPM with Oracle Financials Cloud.

  • Strong understanding of project-driven accounting, revenue recognition, and cost management.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, contract consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Cloud certification(s) in PPM or Financials.

  • Experience with Grants Management or Government/PSO project environments.

  • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or REST/SOAP integrations.

  • Prior experience in global or multi-entity Oracle Cloud implementations.
