The Opportunity
We're working with a long-standing, independent, family-run optical group in Staffordshire. Known for their patient-first ethos and strong community reputation, they're now looking to welcome a dedicated Optometrist to their team. You'll be based across two modern practices, both recently refurbished, offering a professional yet relaxed environment to deliver high-quality care.
What's on Offer
" Salary between 48,000 - 53,000
" 30-minute test times (with flexibility to extend to 45 minutes)
" Modern equipment including OCT, fundus camera, and auto-refraction
" GOC fees, CET courses, and indemnity insurance covered
" 25 days holiday + bank holidays, plus a full week off at Christmas
" Team bonus scheme

The Role
" 4 or 5 days per week, including Saturdays
" 30-minute test times as standard, with pre-screening carried out separately
" No requirement to supervise pre-reg
" Minimal contact lens work as a CLO is in place
" Well-equipped, light, and modern test rooms
" Free parking available at both practices

The Ideal Candidate
" GOC registered Optometrist with at least 3 years' experience

" Flexible, approachable, and keen to contribute to the growth and reputation of the practice
Interviews are available at times to suit, with the option of a trial day or locum session to get a real feel for the practices.
