Working with us means being part of a team that is harnessing technology and creativity to disrupt a traditional industry.We are not your average workplace.We're looking for an Operations Technician provides hands on support to the marine operations team across day to day activities, system preparation, trial execution, and mobilisation/demobilisation tasks.This role ensures that equipment, documentation, and operational processes are maintained to a high standard, supporting safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of technical and marine trials.The role is ideal for someone who is organised, practical, and keen to develop skills in marine operations, autonomous systems, and field based activities. What you will be doing Support planning, preparation, and execution of marine and land based operations. Assist with mobilisations, demobilisations, and general operational readiness tasks. Conduct basic equipment checks, housekeeping, and routine inspections. Maintain inventories of equipment, spares, consumables, and tools. Provide on site support during trials, rehearsals, and demonstrations. Help collect operational data, logs, and observations under supervision. Support safe deployment, recovery, and handling of equipment. Maintain accurate operational records, checklists, logs, and documentation. Report equipment issues or defects and support updates to procedures and workflows. Work with cross functional teams and uphold safety, compliance, and professionalism. Who you are Interest in marine operations, engineering, or autonomous systems. Practical mindset with willingness to work hands-on during trials. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow procedures and work safely at all times. Competent communicator; able to work well within a team. Basic technical aptitude (equipment handling, tools, simple checks). Ability to meet recognised medical fitness requirements for marine operations (e.g., ENG1 or equivalent). Reasonable adjustments will be considered Desirable Experience supporting field trials, technical demonstrations, or marine activities. Any exposure to autonomous systems, survey equipment, or marine technology. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to work irregular hours when required, with reasonable adjustments considered. Salary : The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
