Full-Time Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Operations Technician to join our client's team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideally suited to someone with knowledge of Quality Management Systems, experience within the medical device sector, and a positive, flexible approach to work.
Role OverviewThe Operations Technician will support production and operational activities while ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP principles, and health & safety standards. This is a hands on position requiring attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with equipment setup and changeovers prior to job execution
- Operate production equipment safely and effectively
- Follow approved operating procedures and GMP principles at all times
- Accurately complete GMP and production documentation
- Clean and maintain equipment in line with work instructions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Contribute to waste management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain quality metrics as directed by the functional lead
- Attend team meetings and participate in cross functional activities when required
- Complete all required training and stay current with individual training plans
- Demonstrate flexibility, good timekeeping, and a positive team approach
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Some medical device or regulated industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with GMP environments desirable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Adaptable, reliable, and willing to support across functions
