Job Title - Operations Technician (Production)
Location - Paignton, Devon
Pay Rate - £13.50 Per Hour
Hours - Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm
Type - Temporary ongoing with an opportunity to go Permanent
Manpower UK are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are a leading Medical Equipment Provider.
The Operations Technician will help with putting together and testing parts, small assemblies, or finished products. The role also includes running equipment, following clear instructions, and making sure work meets safety and quality standards. Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role.
Main Duties
- Assembly: Build products or parts by following instructions, diagrams, or step-by-step guides.
- Quality Checks: Check and test products to make sure they meet the required standards. Report any problems you notice.
- Using Tools: Work with hand tools (like screwdrivers or pliers), power tools (like drills), and other equipment as needed.
- Safety: Always follow safety rules, wear the right protective gear, and keep your work area tidy.
- Record Keeping: Write down details of the work you've done, including any changes or problems.
- Teamwork: Work closely with your supervisor and colleagues to keep things running smoothly and solve any issues together.
- Once a month you will be required to stay away for 3/4 nights whilst delivering and collecting equipment across the UK.
Skills & Experience
- Practical Skills: Able to follow drawings or instructions when building or putting parts together.
- Hands-On Ability: Comfortable using tools and equipment, with an interest in how things work.
- Attention to Detail: Careful and thorough when following instructions and checking for problems.
- Communication: Able to share information clearly with your team and supervisor.
- Safety Awareness: Understands the importance of working safely and following rules.
- Basic Computer Skills: Can use Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Experience: Some previous experience in a production or assembly role is preferred.
- DRIVING LICENCE will be required
