OverviewOur client, a leading and highly regarded brand within the premium beauty and personal care sector, is seeking to appoint an experienced General Manager to lead their flagship Dublin location.
This is a senior leadership role overseeing a large, high performing team in a fast paced, client focused environment. The successful candidate will bring strong operational, commercial and people management expertise, along with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Role SummaryThe General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and day to day management of a flagship operation, ensuring excellence across team leadership, client service, and commercial delivery.
This role requires a hands on leader with the ability to manage a dynamic team, drive operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards associated with a premium brand offering.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Management- Lead, manage and motivate a team of 30+ professionals to maintain a high performance culture.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development of staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage employee relations, including conflict resolution where required.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and engaged team environment.
- Oversee the day to day running of a high volume, premium service environment.
- Ensure seamless coordination between front of house and operational teams.
- Maintain high standards of service delivery, presentation and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvements to operational processes.
- Monitor and drive key business KPIs and performance metrics.
- Oversee stock management, inventory control and retail performance.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and optimise business performance.
- Manage budgets and support overall financial performance of the business.
- Ensure delivery of a high end, "white glove" customer service experience.
- Manage client relationships, including handling escalations or complex queries with professionalism and discretion.
- Uphold the brand's reputation for excellence and premium service.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management role within hospitality, luxury retail, or a high end service environment.
- Proven track record of managing large teams (25+ staff).
- Strong experience in HR and people management, including performance management and employee relations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing business performance and KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision making skills.
- Experience within the beauty, wellness or luxury services sector.
- Exposure to high end, premium brand environments.
- Experience managing stock, retail performance or multi revenue streams.
