Join Apple and help us enrich lives and leave the world in a better place than we found it!The Finance department based in the Cork Campus supports all functions of Apple in EMEIA, including the European Sales Fulfilment, AppleCare after-sales services, European Logistics, Manufacturing & Operations, Apple Media Products, Apple Retail as well as being the Shared Services Centre for EMEIA. Engineering & Operations Finance partners with the Engineering, Operations, and AppleCare teams to optimize the worlds most innovative supply chain and provide the best possible customer experience. Intricately connected with their business partners, our team provides analysis for insightful decision making. The team is located in five major global sites: Cupertino, Austin, Shanghai, Singapore, and Cork.This exciting role sits within the EMEIA Engineering & Operations Finance team. The team is primarily responsible for the management of costs and controls within specified business areas, as well as driving strategic decision-making and corporate initiatives. We engage directly with key customers, including all Operations functions (Logistics, Supply Demand Planning, Reseller Operations, Retail Fulfilment Operations, BPR), Product Operations, multiple Engineering groups, AppleCare, Corporate Procurement, GBS, Technical Accounting, Corporate Tax and Trade Compliance.Each Analyst as part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Finance team is primarily responsible for the management of costs within a specified business area. It interacts directly with the key Operations functions, which includes Logistics, Supply Demand Planning, Reseller Operations, Retail Fulfilment Operations, BPR and other support functions. This role will specifically partner and support the Outbound Logistics and associated supply chain impacts whole interacting with other areas of the business as the need arises. There are 4 members working in the Supply Chain Finance team with multifaceted finance and accounting qualifications. Each team member effectively engages with and supports key business partners within the local business teams to provide analytical & decision-making support, as well as being responsible for quarter end close & forecasting activities within their function. You will have phenomenal exposure to not only the Operations Finance team but also the wider Apple organization. Provision of KPIs & Management metrics to help the business understand key cost driversActively work with the business to find opportunities for cost reduction and optimisation opportunities & track these through to collection of savingsLead Quarterly Business Reviews with execsPartner locally with the other members of the EMEIA Operations Finance teams to develop an understanding of the overall business, drive reporting efficiencies & provide key inputs to Operations Business reviewsPartner cross-regionally with peers and seniors finance managers in AMR/APAC regions to develop and implement WW initiativesProvide ad-hoc support to the EMEIA Operations Finance management teamDeliver outstanding support to Business Partners for the EMEIA region and worldwide, continually seeking new areas of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong technical skills with an ability to deal with large volumes of data, developing reporting & practical experience of curating data visualisation dashboards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people
• Should be able to deliver in a fast-paced work environment & to strive for excellence
• Positive energy & demeanour with a desire to drive constant improvement & change
• Ability to cut through ambiguity, to listen, challenge & innovate

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience of analysing complex financial information in a commercially focused environment
