As an Operations Assistant based in Leeds you'll be responsible for: Provide a high level of customer service by supplying the correct materials. Check Goods-in are correctly delivered against delivery notes and goods are booked in on the Wolseley System, then put away accurately and safely. Accurately pick and label goods booked out to customers and other branches using Wolseley System, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed. Maintain standards of housekeeping and adhere to health and safety guidelines, including manual handling techniques, use of loading equipment and PPE. This role may be required to deputise for the Operations Supervisor or Manager as required.This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.00am - 5.00pm And here's what we'd like you to have: Previous industry experience would be ideal Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail Willingness to learn and step up to run the branch in the Branch Managers absence Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationshipsWe look forward to receiving your application!
