Job Description

Here at GXO, we're recruiting an Operations Administrator to join our night shift team in Blyth, working in partnership with B&Q. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an 'any 5 days from 7' pattern, covering the hours of 22:00 to 06:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Support end to end warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound, outbound, stock control, picking and packing, and order fulfilment using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Act as a Super User and key point of contact for system, stock, and operational issues, investigating discrepancies, delays, and exceptions to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide accurate administrative and reporting support, maintaining warehouse records, productivity statistics, CRM tasks, and operational documentation
  • Work flexibly and safely to meet KPIs and operational demands, supporting the warehouse management team while adhering to GXO values, safety standards, and procedures
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • A proactive, self motivated approach with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a solution focused attitude and the ability to work at pace in a busy operational environment
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), with experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Previous warehouse, operational admin, or logistics experience is desirable, along with FLT licences
