Operations Accountant

Location: Ballytivnan, Sligo. In this role, you will be responsible for all financial affairs of the Plant.

What you will do

• Ensure that monthly accounts are completed and reviewed within a pre-determined schedule.
• Prepare all plans/updates and LBE's for review by Plant Finance Manager and Site Director.
• Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure monthly accounts comply with all policies and procedures including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Provide support to the manufacturing facility, participate in weekly meetings, and ensure safety awareness.
• Perform variance analysis - review monthly management accounts to identify deviations from plan or update and facilitate corrective actions.
• Work with the plant to ensure plans, updates and LBE's are achieved.
• Adhere to and support all EHS standards, procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant - ACCA, ACA or ACMA.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a financial/accounting position.
• SAP experience essential.
