Summary of positionThe Operational Sales Manager will be part of the wider Sales Team and is responsible for driving sales performance through effective operational oversight and strategic planning. Working as part of the Sales & Marketing team, this is a new role at Qualco UK which will bridge the gap between sales strategy and execution. The Operational Sales Manager will support the Sales Managers/Directors in their drive to win new business by ensuring that sales processes, systems, and resources are optimised to meet revenue targets and client satisfaction goals. Qualco UK provides software solutions for the collections and recoveries sector of the Financial Services industry.
Key responsibilities- Manage and ensure smooth execution of daily sales activities.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain CRM system to support the team.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Align operational plans with business goals and identify market trends.
- Identify new business opportunities and support lead generation initiatives.
- Streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback and data analysis.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Track and report on KPIs, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Composing and posting regular online content for the company's social media pages and website to increase brand awareness and generate leads
- Responsible for Social Media Accounts
- Employing online marketing analytics to gather information from web and social media pages.
- Drive interaction with Qualco websites and social media through understanding and implementing SEO techniques
- Analyse website traffic and implement changes based on analysis
- Monitor and record in-coming sales enquiries and maintain sales lead/prospects database (CRM).
- Act in accordance with the requirements of Consumer Duty and other regulatory requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in sales management or sales operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
- Strong general administrative skills including a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work to deadlines
The following knowledge would be beneficial:
- Experience of CRM software, Google products such as Analytics, Ad Words
- Knowledge and experience of a regulated financial services organisation
- Previous experience in tender response support and production, ideally in a regulated financial services environment
- Some understanding of Data Protection legislation and Information Security business requirements (ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus) and Quality Management Systems (ISO9001)
