Job Description
Gendarmerie Officer Job Description As a deputy section chief, you manage the reactive and proactive aspects assigned to the mobile gendarmerie, on a shift basis. You will be assigned missions to supervise the management and human resources of a section. You will be called to collaborate with internal and external partners and to participate in various projects. Responsibilities Have a global understanding of the canton based on intelligence Ensure daily close collaboration with territorial counterparts in handling events Participate in monitoring and evaluating the activity of the section, in terms of both quality and workload, and propose appropriate measures Ensure the deployment of resources according to identified problems/support efforts Contribute to establishing the availability of section resources during the scheduled hours Participate in direct management Enforce procedures, orders, circulars, directives, and deadlines, as well as quality standards Gather and transmit necessary elements to the section chief, mobile gendarmerie chief, and/or deputy for the establishment of various reports and other documents For more details, please consult the job specifications by clicking here or contact Captain VALLELIAN, mobile gendarmerie chief, in office. Federal police officer certification is required Completed management training (CCI and CCII) Level III senior management training (CAS CEP) is required or willingness to undertake it during employment Over 12 years of professional police experience or in an equivalent field Decision-making spirit and ability to propose solutions Ability to conduct multiple sustained activities in parallel Very good resistance to stress Our employment conditions require that you be free from prosecution or acts of default of payment.
