Operational Excellence Facilitator - Bellshill
Monday-Friday 40 hours per week
Role available due to internal progression
Are you passionate about improving performance, driving efficiency and enabling teams to deliver outstanding results? We are looking for an experienced Operational Excellence Facilitator to join our Bellshill site.
This is a great opportunity to take ownership of improvement initiatives within a fast paced FMCG environment while supporting a culture of lean thinking and continuous improvement.
About the RoleAs an Operational Excellence Facilitator, you will play a key part in embedding lean methodologies, enabling data driven decision making and championing best practice across the site. You will coach, support and influence teams at all levels to deliver measurable improvements and support operational strategy.
This is a hands on role where you will use recognised tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED, Standard Work and Root Cause Analysis to drive sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and coach Operational Excellence activities to optimise value creation
- Analyse data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead problem solving activities in a high pressure, fast moving environment
- Drive the delivery of improvement projects aligned to waste reduction and performance enhancement
- Influence and support teams through coaching, facilitation and practical guidance
- Deploy lean tools and methodologies, including SMED, 5S, RCA and Standard Work
- Support the Performance Management System and model best in class operational behaviours
- Promote ownership of OE initiatives and cross functional collaboration
- Provide on the job training to colleagues where required
- Champion health and safety standards and ensure safe working practices
- Support the development and delivery of long term Operational Excellence roadmaps
- Six Sigma Green Belt qualification (minimum)
- Strong practical experience delivering Operational Excellence or Lean initiatives
- Proven capability using lean tools within an FMCG environment
- Deep understanding of OEE and how performance impacts site results
- Experience leading and coaching teams through Root Cause Analysis
- Demonstrable change management capability
- Ability to influence, engage and coach teams at all levels
- A data driven, analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills
