Volunteer Role: Open Door Community Lounge Support

Urban Wilderness CIC is offering a short-term volunteer opportunity to support our Open Door sessions, held on Tuesday mornings from 10am to 12pm during term time. These sessions include the Community Lounge, hosted with a representative from Adult Social Care.

Role Details:

• Placement Length: 6 weeks
• Time Commitment: Tuesdays, 9.30am-12.30pm
• Location: Urban Wilderness CIC (please note: no accessible toilet; kitchen access requires stairs)

Tasks Include:

• Setting up the space (moving tables and chairs)
• Providing refreshments
• Customer service
• Admin support

• Public transport travel costs can be claimed

Additional Info:

• You'll be working with vulnerable people
