Oncology Manager

Location: Guildford Hospital
Key Responsibilities:- Manage our Oncology Day Unit and oversee other cancer-related services at the hospital.
- Lead, motivate, educate, and supervise nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support colleagues in delivering effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Influence service development, policies, and strategies to enhance patient-focused, holistic treatment and care.
- Contribute to audits, clinical governance, infection prevention, health and safety, and risk management.
- Build strong relationships with consultants, senior leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients.
Extensive knowledge of managing Oncology patients-from diagnosis to systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT) and end-of-life care.
At least four years of senior experience in oncology nursing or management.
Postgraduate qualification in Oncology, with additional qualifications in teaching or assessment preferred.
