Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Seagreen Blue Shift

The Seagreen service team is responsible for service and maintenance of 114 V164 WTG's in the North Sea, East of Montrose, Scotland. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the SOV Manager, you will organise, plan and prepare all offshore activities and to ensure smooth and safe operations on the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm. You will be working closely with our customer and supervising a team of technicians to service and maintain the wind farm.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Managing and coordinating service operations on site: planning service tasks, approving hours of Technicians and creating service work orders in SAP
  • Organizing Vessel + O&M team transfers together with preparing transfer plans
  • Monitoring weather forecasts & maintaining and updating planning tools
  • Assisting the implementation of new procedures/processes and assuring the implementation of upgrades
  • Planning of annual service and maintenance
  • Servicing the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction & Input to Monthly Customer Report
  • Managing and ensuring electrical safety works on site by compliance to Vestas' Health and Safety Management system


Qualifications

  • An Electrical or Mechanical degree or completed an apprenticeship
  • At least 2 years of professional experience with electrical/mechanical systems, with a focus on offshore and/or high voltage
  • Experience in planning
  • Know how to handle general safety and safety awareness
  • Good English skills both oral and written
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Full driver's license

You will be working on shifts 2 weeks on/2 weeks off.
