Hours: 16-20 hours per week

About the Role

A new opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager/Business Support Officer to join a busy office on a part time basis. This role is ideal for someone confident and personable, with strong administrative and organisational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment. You will act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and suppliers, while providing wider administrative support across multiple teams.

You'll be joining a supportive team environment where your contributions are valued, and the role offers opportunities to develop your skills across office management, event coordination, and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and manage visitors, clients, and external stakeholders professionally

  • Maintain a tidy and organised office and meeting room environment

  • Manage office stock levels, kitchen supplies, and facilities

  • Support onboarding for new starters, including Workstation setup and induction materials

  • Assist with internal events, team activities, and office communications

  • Handle ad hoc administrative projects and tasks as required

  • Manage meeting bookings and internal office queries efficiently

  • Maintain security logs, access passes, and parking allocations

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience in a front-of-house, reception, or office support role

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Confident communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone

  • IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Personable, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced office environment

  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills

Desirable

  • Experience coordinating office events or administrative projects

  • Familiarity with office systems or security protocols

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This is a permanent part time role based in the office, with flexible scheduling within the 16-20 hour weekly range.
