Job Description

Our client is a growing organisation based in Guildford, currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support their expanding operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least two years' administrative experience who is keen to build a well-rounded skill set in office management and business support.

This full-time, office-based role offers a varied workload in a collaborative and professional environment. Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate must be eligible to undergo UK security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Office Manager across day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Prepare and process documentation, including invoice handling and use of internal purchasing systems
  • Answer and direct telephone enquiries in a professional manner
  • Welcome visitors and oversee sign-in procedures
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post and parcels
  • Order kitchen supplies, office stationery, and organise on-site catering
  • Assist with stock control, including data entry and asset labelling (in collaboration with the IT Manager)
  • Help document internal processes
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks and provide administrative support across departments as required

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths at Grade 4/C or above
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative or support role
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence with numbers
  • Eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance
