Occupational Therapist

PE Global Healthcare is delighted to partner with a leading Children's Disability Team in Limerick to recruit a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people while working within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

The Role

As a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for children and young people with complex developmental needs.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers and Medical professionals.
• Support children and families to achieve meaningful goals that promote independence, participation and quality of life.
• Develop individualised therapy programmes and contribute to family-centred care planning.
• Participate in clinical meetings, service development and ongoing professional learning.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Current CORU registration.
• Experience working with children or within disability services is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Full driver's licence and access to a car is desirable.
