Job Role: Occupational Health MSK Physiotherapist (Part-Time, On-Site)
Salary: Up to £42,000 FTE (pro rata), dependent on experience
Job Type: Part-Time, Employed (22.5 hours per week)
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire

Permanent right to work in the UK is required
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to travel between sites

This is a proper occupational health MSK role - structured, purposeful, and refreshingly free from private practice pressures. You'll be fully embedded on-site, working closely with a wider occupational health MDT, supporting employees to stay well, work safely, and recover effectively.

All About YouTo be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
HCPC registered Physiotherapist
Minimum 4 years' post-graduate experience
At least 2 years specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
Confident working independently with minimal supervision
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience providing health education and health promotion advice
Working knowledge of fitness-for-work assessments
Understanding of basic workplace ergonomics
Comfortable using IT systems and clinical reporting software
Highly organised, customer-focused, and able to prioritise workload
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
Desirable (but not essential):
CSP membership
Post-graduate training in Occupational Health or Ergonomics
ACPOHE membership
Providing accurate MSK assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
Classifying MSK conditions according to work-relatedness
Producing clear clinical reports following assessment and at discharge
Advising management on fitness to work and workplace adjustments
Supporting short-, long-, and permanent role modifications where required
Leading on-site exercise and rehabilitation classes
Conducting DSE assessments and providing preventative advice
Recommending equipment or workplace changes following DSE reviews
Identifying workplace hazards that may cause or exacerbate MSK issues
Completing ergonomic risk assessments alongside SHE advisors
Advising the wider OH team on work practice or environmental changes
Supporting the effective rehabilitation of employees with MSK conditions
Maintaining comprehensive clinical records and outcome data
Collecting statistical information for reporting purposes
Contributing to health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
22.5 hours per week across 3 days
Working hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
Fully on-site role across two Portsmouth locations:
2.5 days per week - Portsmouth (PO1 3ND)
0.5 day per week - Portsmouth (PO3 5PQ)
Regular travel between sites is required
