A lovely family seeks an occasional babysitter for their 2-year-old for an immediate start. Backup care is needed for date nights on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Their child enjoys reading books, playing with stuffed animals and Legos, and feeding ducks at the park. The family is able to provide a 2-3 weeks' notice before care is needed. Candidates do not need to be available for every request, but should understand that this is an intermittent position with no guaranteed hours. The ideal candidate will be proactive, respectful, dependable, and attentive to the child's emotional well-being and safety.

Responsibilities

• Diaper changing
• Potty training assistance
• Supporting bedtime routines
• Light meal preparation, including heating meals and simple cooking

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
• CPR certified, or willing to become certified
• Legally authorized to work in England
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
• Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the SE9 2JY postcode
• Access to a reliable vehicle is a plus
