Nurture Support Assistant - Hailsham

Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Nurture Support Assistant for a school in Hailsham. This role would suit someone warm, steady and patient who wants to support children who need extra emotional and learning support.

Responsibilities

• Help pupils feel settled, safe and ready to learn.
• Support children with confidence, emotional regulation, social skills, communication, routines or behaviour.
• May involve 1:1 support, small-group work and classroom support.
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety or speech and language needs as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience in schools, nurseries, childcare, care, youth work, family support, SEND, SEMH, mental health support or mentoring is welcomed.
• Ability to provide calm, consistent and kind support.
• Flexible for temporary, permanent or temp-to-perm opportunities; start as soon as possible or in September.
• Location: Hailsham
• Pay: £14.25 to £16.40 per hour
