Nursing Home Manager

Porthcawl
£60,000-£65,000

Small Nursing Home in the Porthcawl area requires a nurse registered manager for their dementia and elderly care service.

Our client is looking for a nurse registered manager to oversee the day to day management of their 40+ bed nursing home in the Porthcawl area.

Responsibilities

Ensure high quality care
Lead and manage the care and hospitality teams ensuring they are well trained and motivated
Oversee the development and implementation of care plans
Responsible for the home's budget, in conjunction with the Finance Team
Manage complaints from residents, relatives and staff in accordance with Society policy
Ensure CIW compliance
Engage with local community groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available

Qualifications

You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Management experience in a nursing home or similar setting
At least level 4 or 5 diplomas in Health and Social Care
Strong leadership and people management skills
A passion for person centred care and working with older people
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Ability to manage workload and remain calm under pressure
