We are recruiting an experienced, nurse-qualified Nursing Home Manager to lead a high-quality, fully compliant nursing home in Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) with strong leadership experience to manage a stable, well-run service with an excellent reputation for care and compliance.

This Nursing Home Manager job in Portsmouth is ideal for an established Care Home Manager, Registered Nursing Home Manager, or a Deputy Manager ready to step up into a senior leadership role.

• Full operational and clinical management of a nursing home in Portsmouth
• Act as CQC Registered Manager
• Maintain and enhance CQC compliance, governance, and quality standards
• Lead, motivate, and develop nursing, care, and support staff
• Ensure delivery of outstanding person-centred nursing care
• Oversee clinical audits, risk management, and quality assurance
• Manage staffing, recruitment, retention, and performance
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, GPs, and external professionals
• Manage budgets, occupancy, and overall home performance
• Prepare for and lead CQC inspections

• Nurse qualified (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) - essential
• Experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager, or Deputy Manager
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and safeguarding
• Proven leadership and people-management skills
• Passion for high-quality nursing and elderly care
• Right to work in the UK

• Experience managing a fully compliant or Good/Outstanding CQC-rated nursing home
• Strong clinical leadership background
• Budget, occupancy, and performance management experience
• Knowledge of local healthcare services in Portsmouth and Hampshire
