Pay - £13.68 - £16.00 per hour.

Location - Walsall.

Hours - 8.15-16.15.

Position - Nursery Teaching Assistant.

Position Type - Temp to perm.

Position - Term time only, Monday-Friday.

Aspire People are assisting a lovely Nursery School in Walsall who are looking to appoint a hardworking, dedicated and caring Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in their Nursery class.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting children aged 2-4 year olds.
• Keeping children motivated and working towards their Early Years learning goals.
• Planning and implementing children's learning and play activities.
• Observing and assessing children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers to meet the individual needs of the children.
• Liaise within a multi-disciplinary team, i.e. speech and language and inclusion support.
• Key Person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families.
• Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery.

Requirements

• Level 2 or above qualifications in childcare or early years.
• DBS on the update service or willing to have a new one processed.
• Paediatric First Aid or willing to undergo 2-day training course.
• Comfortable with nappies if required.
• Able to provide 2 references, one being from most recent employer.
