Nursery Teacher - Maternity cover - Crook

The Education Network is currently looking to recruit a full time Nursery Teacher to cover a maternity period from Easter 2026.

Candidates should have a good understanding of teaching and assessment within EYFS and/or experience of teaching in a Nursery aged classroom. The successful applicant will join a fantastic Nursery department within one of our partner schools and work closely with the EYFS lead. The school's curriculum places a huge emphasis on communication and language, as well as personal, social and emotional development. You will be responsible for all aspects of classroom management and lesson delivery and will excite and motivate students to enjoy their education.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and assess effective lessons for nursery aged children.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Communicate with students, staff and parents.

Qualifications & Experience

• QTS or overseas equivalent.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Effective communication with students, staff and parents.
• Ability to plan and assess effectively.
