Nursery Room Leader

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Room Leader to lead one of our rooms and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality early years education. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident Level 3 (or above) qualified professional looking to take the next step in their childcare career.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily running of the room
• Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Support, mentor, and supervise room staff
• Monitor children's learning and development through observation and assessment
• Ensure the room meets high standards of care, safety, and hygiene
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
• Act as a Key Person for a group of children
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met
• Contribute to staff meetings and continuous improvement within the nursery

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
• Previous experience in an early years setting
• Experience leading or supervising a team (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
