Job Description

We are looking for an L3 Qualified Childcare Nursery Manager Operation Lead to join our vibrant and friendly Day Nursery.

We are based in a busy but warm, caring, and supportive setting. We offer a safe, stimulating, age-appropriate, and spacious environment where children can feel engaged and supported. Our excellent indoor and outdoor facilities provide a space for children to learn and thrive.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:
  1. Hold a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
  2. Have 3 years of childcare experience
  3. Have 3 years of experience working in a nursery setting
  4. Have 2 years of managerial experience within a nursery setting
  5. Be enthusiastic, fun, creative, and a good role model
  6. Have a genuine passion, motivation, and drive for working with and educating children
  7. Have a good understanding of the EYFS and Safeguarding policies/procedures
  8. Be committed to self-development and motivated to keep knowledge and skills updated
  9. Believe in promoting and building strong parent partnerships to support cohesive learning for children
The Role Requires You To Ensure:
  1. The highest standards of care, safeguarding, and policy adherence
  2. Promotion and implementation of EYFS/SEND standards
  3. The health, safety, security, and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors
  4. Participation in the key person system, including monitoring, assessment, and reporting on children's development
  5. Meeting children's emotional and social needs through positive behaviour management techniques
  6. A smooth settling-in and transition process for children as needed
  7. Promotion of good personal and food hygiene, encouraging independence
  8. Professionalism, teamwork, high-quality practice, flexibility, and promoting equality and diversity
  9. Planning activities tailored to individual and group abilities, interests, and backgrounds to support development
  10. Attendance at meetings, training, appraisals, and supervision
  11. Timely escalation of practice or family concerns with effective communication
  12. Effective partnership with management, colleagues, and other professionals, including family support workers, speech therapists, and SENCO
