Nursery Manager

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a well-established nursery in Hackney as it enters an exciting new phase. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership, shape the culture, and make a real impact.

The Role

As Nursery Manager you will:

• Lead and inspire your team to deliver high-quality early years education
• Ensure excellent standards of safeguarding, care and learning in line with EYFS
• Support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and training
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community
• Manage occupancy, staffing ratios and the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Happy with full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8am-6pm
• Level 3 qualified in Early Years (minimum requirement)
• Ideally holds or is working towards a Level 5 or Level 6 leadership qualification
• Experienced in leading teams within an early years setting
• Passionate about child development and high-quality care
• Confident with safeguarding, compliance and Ofsted expectations
• A positive and supportive leader who brings out the best in their team
