Working Hours & Shift Pattern

Job Description

As a Nursery Manager, you will lead a welcoming and engaging childcare setting focused on delivering high quality early years education and care within Brentford, Middlesex TW8. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive nurseries & early years environment that values child development, nursery leadership, team collaboration, and creating positive learning experiences for children and families. The setting provides a warm and professional childcare environment where experienced early years professionals can thrive, develop teams, maintain strong Ofsted standards, and support outstanding nursery operations. This opportunity would suit a confident and organised Nursery Manager who is passionate about childcare leadership, safeguarding, team development, and delivering high quality early years education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day to day operational management of the nursery setting
  • Ensure high standards of childcare, safeguarding, EYFS delivery, and Ofsted compliance
  • Support, mentor, and develop nursery staff and room leaders
  • Maintain compliance with early years regulations and nursery standards
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals
  • Monitor child development, learning outcomes, and nursery practices
  • Manage staffing, rotas, and operational nursery requirements
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff supervision processes
  • Maintain accurate nursery documentation and operational compliance records
  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and engaging childcare environment
Requirements
  • No sponsorship available for this role. You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
  • Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Manager or senior nursery leader
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, childcare regulations, and Ofsted standards
  • Confident nursery leadership and operational management capability within childcare settings
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with families and teams
  • Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a nursery team
