Nursery Manager

The Nursery Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with legislation, EYFS standards, safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies.

The role involves leading curriculum delivery, supporting and developing staff, and building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies.

Key aspects include:

• Managing finances, budgets, and occupancy growth, overseeing recruitment and staff development, facilitating inspections, and supporting marketing and promotional activities.
• The Nursery Manager must ensure high standards of care, hygiene, and professionalism, while embedding the company's values across all operations.
• Essential requirements include at least two years' supervisory experience in early years settings, a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification, strong leadership and communication skills, and sound knowledge of child development, EYFS, safeguarding, and equal opportunities.
• A management qualification, first aid training, and prior nursery management experience are desirable.
