Nursery Cook

What We're Looking For

Mama Bear's Day Nursery is looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our friendly team in Speedwell. Our nursery provides a warm, welcoming environment for children aged 3 months to 4 years, and we are committed to offering nutritious, home cooked meals every day.

The Nursery Cook will prepare and cook fresh breakfasts, lunches and teas for babies and young children, following a set menu. Duties also include stock management, maintaining a clean kitchen, washing up and ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.

• Experience cooking in a similar environment (school, nursery, care setting or catering)
• Food Hygiene certificate (essential)
• Knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements and cross contamination
• Familiarity with Safer Food Better Business (preferred)
• High standards of cleanliness and organisation
