We're opening a brand-new nursery and are looking for an experienced cook to become a key part of our team. If you enjoy creating nourishing food for young children and want to help set the standard from day one, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role

We need a Nursery Cook who can prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent food hygiene, managing allergens correctly, and keeping the kitchen organised, safe, and welcoming. As one of the first members of our team, you'll play an important part in shaping our food routines and mealtime experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Planning and preparing nutritious menus suited to young children
• Cooking fresh meals and snacks each day
• Managing allergies, dietary requirements and portion sizes
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Ordering and organising stock efficiently
• Working closely with the nursery team to support children's needs

Who We're Looking For

• Someone with experience cooking for children, ideally within a nursery or school setting
• Food hygiene qualifications (Level 2 or above preferred)

• A team player who enjoys contributing to a warm and friendly environment
