Nursery Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a busy and friendly Children's Centre in Tottenham, Haringey, with the recruitment of a Nursery Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years professional/Nursery Assistant to join a supportive team and make a real difference to children's learning and development.

The role:

• Provide general support across the nursery class, ensuring all children are cared for and engaged

• Focus on supporting children with special educational needs, including speech and language difficulties

• Work closely with the nursery team to deliver high-quality Early Years provision

• Assist with planning and implementing activities in line with the EYFS framework

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualifications, or equivalent skills and experience

• A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting their development

• Excellent communication, patience, and teamwork skills

• Ideally will be located within easy reach of the Tottenham, Haringey area
• Prior experience ass a Nursery Assistant

Details:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 3:30pm, full time, term time only

• Salary: £95-100 per day

• Start date: March 2026 - July 2026 (likely to be extended)
