Nursery Assistant - Qualified

Salary: £15.00 per hour
Contract: Full-time

Do you have a passion for early childhood education and a desire to make a meaningful impact? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team in Basingstoke.

As a Nursery Assistant, you'll play an important part in supporting the care, development, and learning of children aged 0-5. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.

Your day-to-day will involve assisting with creative, play-based activities, supporting children's social and emotional growth, and ensuring their wellbeing at all times.

• Provide day-to-day care and supervision of children in the nursery

• Support the planning and delivery of fun, engaging, and educational activities

• Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and positive learning environment

• Help monitor and record children's progress and development

• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers

• Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures

• A genuine passion for working with young children

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• An understanding of safeguarding and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent) is desirable but not essential

• Previous nursery or early years experience is an advantage
