Nursery Assistant - No Formal Qualifications Needed!

We're working with a group of fun, welcoming and exciting nurseries & pre-schools across South Bristol who are looking for caring, energetic Nursery Assistants to join their teams.

These settings are all about creating safe, happy spaces where little ones can explore, play, and grow. Every day is filled with curiosity, creativity, and those small but magical moments that make working in early years so rewarding.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting nurseries in and around South Bristol
• Helping to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children
• Joining in with play, activities, and daily routines
• Encouraging children's development through interaction and care
• Supporting behaviour in a calm and positive way
• Helping with snack times, tidy ups, and transitions throughout the day
• Keeping a close eye on children's wellbeing and safety at all times
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns in line with nursery policies

What we're looking for:

• Someone who genuinely enjoys being around young children
• A warm, patient, and caring nature
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Someone reliable and flexible; every day can be different
• Good communication skills
• Any experience with children is great, this could be babysitting, volunteering, or family experience
• No formal qualifications needed, just the right attitude and enthusiasm

What you'll need to get started:

• Right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of address
• A CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained
• Two years of references where possible, especially involving children
• An overseas police check if you've lived abroad for 3 months or more in the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
