NRSWA Inspector

Overview

We're looking for an experienced NRSWA Inspector to join our clients Highways team in West London on a freelance basis. You'll play a key role in managing and coordinating street works, helping to keep traffic moving and disruption to a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Assess permit applications and enforce compliance (Fixed Penalty Notices, Section 74 Overruns).
• Inspect and monitor works on the highway, ensuring reinstatements meet standards.
• Work with utilities, contractors, and stakeholders to reduce disruption.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and liaise with residents and councillors.

About you

• Knowledge of NRSWA, Traffic Management Act, or highways/utility works.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confident in site inspections, compliance, and resolving issues.
• Customer-focused with the ability to balance technical and public needs.
• Hold a NRSWA Inspector/Supervisor ticket.
