Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a well established Belfast City Centre law firm, working across both Conveyancing and Private Client matters. This role offers the chance to build your career within a supportive team environment, gaining exposure to residential and commercial property transactions alongside wills, probate, and estate administration work.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of residential and/or commercial property transactions Assist with wills, probate, and estate administration matters Support senior solicitors with file progression Draft and review contracts, leases, wills, enduring powers of attorney, and estate accounts Conduct title checks and pre-contract enquiries Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, HMRC, executors, and beneficiaries Attend client meetings, taking instructions with sensitivity and accuracy Maintain accurate time recording, billing, and digital file management Provide ad hoc support to the wider team

Essential Skills and Experience

Newly Qualified Solicitor (up to 2 years PQE) Experience in conveyancing and/or private client work Strong client care skills and effective communication style Well organised, methodical, and detail focused Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience using a legal CMS and Microsoft Office Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
